Healing Crystals
The amazing thing about crystals is that you can engage with them in a way that feels right for you and they are still beneficial. Yes, they are all attributed healing properties that can help us to feel supported on our journeys but simply being surrounded by their beauty can lift your spirits, raise your vibration, and put you in a better mood.

Amber

During an angel reading, I was told that Archangel Jophiel was near me. Known for the ability to guide us through healing ourselves from negative emotions, she brings creativity and beauty into our lives and is connected to the solar plexus - Manipura - chakra and the colour yellow.
Part of my personal healing journey involves my digestion and embracing my self-worth - solar plexus work.
The night after my angel reading, I received a message in my dream: ‘Wear amber.’
A few years ago I’d had a strong intuition about purchasing an amber bracelet from a local artist. I hadn’t worn it in over a year but immediately found it and I put it on after my dream.
Looking up the properties, I found that Amber:

In the days leading up to my Angel reading, I had been battling a headache. Finally, the afternoon after having my dream, I took time to rest and create art. The collage I made focused on the colour yellow and my journey of self-acceptance.
Taking that action didn’t cure my headache (although Tylenol finally did help) but it made me question why it had taken me so long to care for myself when I was in pain. Then I realized - ‘right, because I don’t see myself as worthy of this care.’
This understanding and perspective shift allowed me to find gratitude for the pain I was in because it encouraged me to ask for what I needed, to prioritize myself and my well-being, and forced me to surrender. Most importantly, it provided me with a big piece of healing for my solar plexus.

On my way to a meeting at a local coffee shop, I couldn’t find any parking.
‘No problem,’ I thought, ‘I’ll park a little further away.’
As I walked over I found a lone pretty rock on the sidewalk. I didn’t know what it was at that moment but knew I was meant to find it. I put it in my purse and carried on.
I had a great meeting followed by an incredible massage and reiki session, and some random visits and nice catch-ups with friends. By the time I got home, I had nearly forgotten about the rock in my purse.

During a few really busy weeks of work and computer time, I started wearing my Tiger’s Eye Mala - a beautiful gift from a friend. Crazy and hectic times often call for extra support and I’m fortunate to have some excellent tools, like this one, in my possession.

Last year I had a dream that directed me to wear a moonstone necklace. At the time I was working a lot with heart opening and sacral healing (fertility).
I ordered this one on Etsy. I wear it on and off when it feels right.
When I’m not wearing it, it hangs on the handle of my bedroom closet. While I was getting dressed the other day, it fell to the floor. I was nowhere near it and when I picked it up, the clasp was still secured.
I’ve been wearing it much more since then!
